2007 Venus occultation video (GIF). Click on image for the animation of Venus rising above Moon's horizon (6 MB animated GIF). It was a rare opportunity to observe a rise of Venus above a foreign's world horizon. Taken through Orion Skyview pro 200mm F/5 Newtonian, in Carmel forest, with Canon powershot S60 camera handheld in front of 25mm Sirius plossl eyepiece.
