Timelapse movie of milky way, taken over ~2.5 hours at Borot Lutz, Negev desert in Israel.
Despite the abundance of bright bollides during this year's Perseid meteor shower - I managed to catch only one (visible in the image). Small streaks of light above the horizon which appear in the second part - are distant jets over an air base. Camera: Canon 500D, 18-55 mm kit lens (@18mm, F/3.5), series of 25 second exposures, at ISO1600. The shooting was made with Backyard EOS software.
